A BREAKTHROUGH FOR HERPES SUFFERERS! GET NEW HOPE! NEW INFO!
"A POWERFUL STORY THAT NEEDS TO BE TOLD" FRED RENO WBRZTV
Treating the Emotions
Millions of Americans are afflicted with genital herpes with tens of thousands of new cases being reported each year. This ravaging disease afflicts its sufferers with both physical and emotional scarring, and while effective treatments for the physical aspects of the disease have been developed in recent years, relatively scant attention has been given to the emotional trauma associated with the disease. And even less attention has been given to the connection between patients’ stress levels and recurrences of herpes outbreaks.
Reducing Stress and Outbreaks
Dr. James D. Okun, MD addresses the role of emotional well-being in the effective treatment of herpes in his book Erasing Scars: Herpes and Healing. Drawing on the philosophy of Aesthetic Realism founded by poet and critic Eli Siegel and the clinical studies of UCLA Dermatologist Stanley M. Bierman, Okun makes the case for herpes sufferers’ coming to terms with their infection and seeking effective medical treatment for it, while pursuing therapies that will enable them to combat stress and thereby reduce the likelihood of further outbreaks once the physical symptoms have been dealt with.

REVIEWS & PRAISE
In writing my memoir, "Life Savors," Marcia was invaluable in helping me. Marcia, your clarity of vision in terms of a "through-line" was immensely helpful, and your suggestions, like "less of a travelogue" and "more Buffy – maybe dialogue" and "keep the focus" – were important to my efforts. You gave me a sense of purpose when I was discouraged and a sense of pride in what I was trying to do. As a memoirist "consultant," you are the best!

Having had no experience in writing, but with a burning desire to try to help people reach their goals, I asked Marcia Rosen to help me with the process. Let me tell you, that was the wisest decision I ever made. Marcia has a unique ability to explain the process and help you along. She is upbeat and very knowledgeable in writing and publishing. She will guide you, encourage you and direct your progress. I really could not have done my book without her. Thank you, Marcia.

"Lessons Learned: How to Negotiate the Life You Want to Live"
Dear Marcia, You have been a great source of motivation and support both in developing my Memoir and encouraging me to write what I hope is my first of several children's books on adoption. Each of these projects is very important to me and you have helped me feel I can be a successful published author. I look forward to our continuing to work together, it is the connection we have together that I value, and I appreciate you telling me you feel the same way. Thank you for all.

Once in a rare while, a contemporary love story is written that captures our imagination that it becomes an exhilarating experience. Return to Cameron Country is such a book. It is a triumph of how passion can be reckless and at the same time fiercely amazing. It is a tale that moves us to the pathos of fears and tears and along with it, joy and laughter.
At 40, Captain Bryce Mabo Cameron, an Australian Special Forces and a single father, met an elfin American beauty, Belle. She came to his world and rocked it. Unexpectedly, he did likewise, such that she felt compelled to be with him, a man she hardly knew but with whom she was hopelessly in love.
Daringly, 25-year old Belle left cosmopolitan New York to be with Bryce in the scorching heat of Australia's Gulf Savannah.
Cameron Country was dry and dusty, prone to cyclones and full of wild life she never even knew existed. From working as a forensic accountant in a high-rise to marrying a man who could only be described as a warrior and a romantic dreamer, her life went from mundane to turbulent in one fell swoop.
Would the beautiful Belle cope with it all?
Or is she in for a world of regret?

A series of scholarly papers prepared for presentation to the '81 Club of Kansas City, Missouri, which was formed in 1881. The only forbidden topics are the Civil War, politics and religion.
A chance encounter at a party brings Lance and Abby together.
Lance just graduated and has a summer internship. His parents expect him to come back to Texas to work in the family business at the end of the summer. He likes to have fun and doesn't want to be tied down too soon. Until he meets Abby.
Abby still has two years left of college and a mom who keeps her anchored near the town where she grew up. She is cautious in relationships, not letting people close. But Lance's persistence wears down her defenses. Knowing Lance is leaving, Abby tells herself it's just a summer fling.
Will that be enough to keep her from falling in love?
Thunder claps roar and Odin’s ravens fly. Dragonships set sail – and the kingdoms of Western Europe hold their breath. Warriors of Thor are on the move.
By the mid ninth century, Danish raids on Anglo-Saxon kingdoms have escalated. Several bands even dare to overwinter on the coastal islands, particularly those at the mouth of the Thames, where the kingdoms of Wessex and Mercia border each other.
The kings of these lands must put past enmity aside and take the first steps towards unity; steps they see as vital in the face of this newfound threat to their lands . . .
Alfred of Wessex and Eadwulf of Mercia are the sons of kings, whose futures have been determined since birth. But the turbulent events in their childhood years change the natural progression of things – and shape the characters of the men they will become. Their roads to manhood follow vastly different routes, but both learn crucial lessons along the way: lessons that will serve them well in future years.
Discovering that the enemy is not always a stranger is a harsh lesson indeed; the realisation that a trusted kinsman can turn traitor is the harshest lesson of all.
The story takes us from the kingdoms of Mercia and Wessex to the Norse lands stretching north from Denmark to the Arctic Circle and east to the Baltic Sea. We glimpse the Court of Charles the Bald of West Francia and journey to the holy city of Rome. Through it all, the two boys move ever closer to their destinies.
One Little Book Two Big Heroes
Steve Jobs and Bill Gates are, undoubtedly, two of the most driven visionaries of our time. Somebody needed to write a comparative biographical book about them that could be read in an hour, obviously!
These two men have literally “changed the world” with their innovative ideas and their revolutionary companies.
This is a somewhat friendly comparison between Steve Jobs “the moody perfectionist artist” and Bill Gates “the laid back nerd guy.”
We will compare and contrast the principles, philosophies, upbringings, legacies, accomplishments and more!
Steve was the adopted misfit that broke all of the rules, did things his way and only his way while Bill was raised by his biological parents and didn’t get into much trouble. He was more of a "good kid."
These men were both college dropouts, whom established their companies with the help of a best friend, and were also very great businessmen!
In the year 1955, the Earth and its lowly inhabitants are fortunate to be blessed with not just one, but two visionaries and innovators that will help pave its way and give it an elegant entrance to the modern times. What is more is that sometime in their lives, they were bound to cross each other’s paths and leave a mark in each other’s lives and the world.
Comparing these two men is like voicing a question that has been waiting to burst out of its box for such a long time. In fact, we have been subconsciously comparing these two men since the modern day an age and the presence of personal computers touched the way we live.
We know how these two men are such big rivals when it comes to the digital world. However, it is also such a wonder to realize that these two well-known rivals have several traits, approaches, and beliefs in common as well.
To compare Gates against Jobs is much like deciding whether to buy a Mac or a Windows PC. Both these men’s passion, style, and attitude can be seen on their company’s products. The devices that we are using now, in a way, represents what and how these men are without us noticing it.
It is that rich legacy that Jobs left us and the legacy that Gates is still trying to enrich further that compels me to make this comparison.
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other opinions drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.”
~ Steve Jobs
Everyone wanted a piece of Tom. Kate certainly did. She reckoned just one more night and it would have been a different story. If she could have rekindled his childhood infatuation she would have made sure he put in for an Officer’s commission. Maybe then he wouldn’t have died a foot soldier’s death in 1944 crouching behind a doomed Mk. 4 Churchill tank.
Vera had Tom to herself for two whole years. Or so she thought. She bore him twin sons though he went to his warrior’s grave never knowing. But if he never knew, who was the faceless spectre in the shadows at his eldest son’s wedding?
Then there was Tom’s mother Flo. She simply couldn’t let him die. She’d struggled too hard as a lone parent in the hungry 1930s to let him go. Their paranormal relationship continued for 40 years after his earthly death.
This story puts the fragments together - and discovers the true persona of Tom Harman.
... "HILARIOUSLY FUNNY ONE MOMENT AND THOUGHT PROVOKING THE NEXT!"
"POIGNANT AND GRAPHIC TALES - WITH AN UNEXPECTED TWIST."
"NICE TO KNOW YOUR PUPILS GOT YOUR BACK WHEN YOU NEED IT!" ...
"... LAUGHED SO HARD I WAS ACTUALLY CRYING DURING PART OF THE BOOK..."
"THIS ACCURATE LOOK AT SCHOOL LIFE BROUGHT BACK MANY MEMORIES OF MY OWN TIME!"
"A BOOK FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS - AND MAYBE THE PUPILS!"
These stories from the classroom will have you laughing or weeping - sometimes both in the same minute!
Whether student, teacher or parent you will wonder: How do they survive?
Waterloo Road or Grange Hill meet Gervase Phinn - well maybe! Readers of this book will have to admit that the stories about its characters will stay in your memory for a long time. With over twenty years teaching experience behind him, G J Griffiths has brought to the reader some of the stories about the children he taught, in this amusing and often inspirational book. Without exception everyone will recognise the characters and their captivating tales.
All through the book we are made aware of the joys and disappointments experienced by the pupils and their teachers: Mr Jeffrey and his colleagues. With the ever-present controversy about changes in the education system this is a timely illustration of what is to be found in the classrooms of the contemporary High School.
The book tends to concentrate in the latter part on an unpleasant boy Kyle, who is a bully, and his effect on two other boys, Adam and Nigel Shantra. Unknown to Mr Jeffrey he also affects the way his teaching job changes at the exact time that Robert really feels he has become a “good teacher”. The three paths of Nigel, Kyle and Robert Jeffrey converge several years later in the last chapter.
Look out for an unexpected twist in this amusing collection of school stories that "should be made required reading for every student teacher!"
