About Brad G. Moore
Brad Moore gained his love for reading at an early age when his older sister introduced him to Margret and H.A. Rey's classic character, Curious George. After watching re-runs on late night television of the Perry Mason series, he began reading the novels by Earl Stanley Gardner. His love for mysteries grew as he read classics from Dashiell Hammett and Raymond Chandler.
Although he is an avid mystery fan, his greatest influences as a writer are John D. Fitzgerald's The Great Brain, Keith Robertson's Henry Reed, and Beverly Cleary's Ramona. To him, these books and characters exemplified the innocence and enjoyment of childhood.
Although he owes his love of reading and writing to his sister, he owes his love of rasslin to his brother. As his brother flipped through the channels one Saturday morning, he stopped to poke fun at the theatrics of the local wrestling program. While he scoffed at the program, Brad fell in love with the characters and storylines. A lifelong addiction began that Saturday morning. As local cable programming expanded, so did his interest in the sport as he gained access to new personalities from around the globe. Soon, he owned nearly every wrestling magazine on the market. Although clearly fictional, he enjoyed the stories that gave the characters life. It is in this spirit that he wrote Journeyman. It's still real to him too
