It doesn’t get much cooler than growing up in a haunted house. Victor and Ivy Plotz have never known a day where they didn’t share a juice box with an alien, do their homework while ghosts floated overhead, or had a family dinner that wasn’t peppered with shrieks of terror. Fearless since birth, they learned to walk among animatronic werewolves and had explored every nook and cranny, found every secret passageway of their family’s haunted house attraction before their tenth birthday.

However, one night during a massive thunderstorm, all the rules changed. With their main control offline, all the animatronic monsters go rogue; leaving their rooms and roaming free. Until the system resets, Victor and Ivy have no way of knowing when the dragon will appear, who the possessed dolls are following, or where the giant spider has crept off too. An ill-timed burglary attempt from the living adds to their troubles, and creates a night that Victor and Ivy’s childhood has hopefully prepared them for – surviving the night alone.
