If you loved Janet Dailey’s Americana Series or Aliza Fogelson’s The Lending Library WANTED: AN HONEST MAN, Book 1 in The Lindsey Lark Series, is for you. Reviewers have written it reminds them of the old movie, Sliding Doors and the TV series Boston Public.

Buy Wanted: An Honest Man to begin reading this contemporary romantic mystery series today!

Charming... unexpected... emotionally charged!
--- Amylynn Bright, author of Finish What We Started

Ms. Rohman’s entertaining novel, WANTED: AN HONEST MAN, has all the hallmarks of a bestseller including a cast of inspired characters that bring real-world authenticity to her tale.
--- BookViral

Reading the first chapter of Wanted: An Honest Man I couldn't help but be reminded of the scene in Sliding Doors when Gwyneth Paltrow comes home to find her man with another woman. It's a really powerful scene and Cricket Rohman captures the same sense of sickening hurt. I have to say the writing is superb in this highly enjoyable Mystery Romance.
--- Avid Reader

For the most part, this is a clean romantic book that includes mystery and adventure, although there was some sex and a few swear words. I loved how Lindsey handled the troubling issues with a few of her students as well as the delightful holiday show she put on with kids. This book was fun and seemed so real. I gave it 5 stars for entertaining me and making me want to read the next book.
--- Diana’s Book Reviews

I only give a book five stars when it completely captivates me. This caught me on so many levels, and I could not put it down. I enjoyed the details about teaching kindergartners, the lively characters, and loved Wendell the dog. I bought the next two books in the series.

Blog Post ➡ #FREE ON #KindleUnlimited #BOOK ➡ ALL THINGS small by Norman B. Schwartz

In the back streets of Old Rome, near the famous Bernini monument, The Fountain of the Four Rivers, La Dolce Vita turns from sweet...to sour. A naïve American tourist gets involved with poets, the Mafia, an opera singer, a movie star, and a film being shot at Cinecittà.

In the grand tradition of Mark Twain, Norman B. Schwartz recounts the comic misadventures of an innocent abroad—neither an Ugly American nor a Quiet one—but someone young who soon learns that within the Eternal City one cannot stay that innocent for long.In the late 1950s NORMAN B. SCHWARTZ was working as an assistant film editor at Columbia Pictures in Hollywood when he heard that the studio was making a series of films in co-production in Rome. He left the states on his own and headed to Italia, where as his buona fortuna would have it, he found work and stayed for ten years.

In Italy the first picture he worked on was the Ray Harryhausen’s Dynamation classic Jason And The Argonauts (1963). When he was not working in the Roman studios, he went south and beachcombed in old fishing villages like Positano on the Amalfi coast. He learned to speak Italian and live as Italians do: Dolce fa niente, “the sweetness of doing nothing.

”In the 70s Mr. Schwartz returned to Hollywood, eventually to collaborate on the sound tracks of such Oscar-winning feature films as The Exorcist and E.T. the Extraterrestrial. He became the first ADR sound editor and director ever admitted to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He also taught writing, directing and acting for 20+ years in the U.S.A., France, Spain, Italy, Hungary, Nigeria and the UAE. He is the author of three comic novels: ALL THINGS small; Don Juan in Space; and Hollywood Below and Beyond (an illusory memoir).

Blog Post ➡ #FREE ON #KindleUnlimited #BOOK ➡ BEYOND THE PETTUS BRIDGE by Trish Dolasinski

A fire rages. Children race to escape the woods being eaten by flames. A white man in a white robe is carried away on a stretcher.

Claire, a young, northern-born white woman during the 60s, and her new husband Bruce, move to Selma, Alabama when he receives a draft notice to join the Air Force.

It doesn’t take long for Claire to realize there’s more to this town than meets the eye, but she has her own issues to overcome: a miscarriage, family drama, connecting with her students, and settling into her life in the Deep South.

This historical novel about teaching is also a heart-wrenching and heart-warming family story about newlyweds, new beginnings, new friends, and risky ideals. Claire will have to decide what’s more important: fitting in and settling down or joining the underground sisterhood fight against racism, Fems for Freedom.

Beyond the Pettus Bridge is an exploration of several relatable themes: racial relations, transitions, sacrifice, sisterhood, loss, and reconciliation. Dolasinski expertly navigates the terrain of these complicated topics with characters that linger in the reader's mind. Ultimately, the novel gives shape to what it means to hope in an uncertain landscape.

In 1969, a young white teacher from the North, Claire Zuretski, finds herself unexpectedly embroiled in the local politics of Selma, Alabama, when she takes a job in an all-Black school. Refusing to bend to social pressures to quit her job, she befriends women of all races who are working quietly to unite the community. Ultimately, she learns that the solidarity of sisterhood can be a powerful force for change in the face of deep-rooted prejudice and discrimination. I loved this story of hope and found myself rooting for Claire as she summoned the courage to speak out for justice and equality—a message still needed in America today.

Blog Post ➡ #FREE ON #KindleUnlimited #BOOK ➡ The Savage Path: A Memoir of Modern Masculinity by David Savage

Do you believe society needs genuine, healthy masculinity?

Masculinity, in any form, has been viciously attacked for decades with serious unintended consequences. We need boys to grow into responsible, productive men and fathers. We need their strength to face down evil, and they need a guide to help them navigate this new wilderness, to find and define their masculinity in the gender-confused world of today.

This memoir is filled with modern male friendships, advice, career tips for Christian men, and stories about Savage’s own experiences on a quest for answers. Savage hopes this will not only be able to help inform individuals, but that this work of God’s will writing for men will be a group ministry discussion- starter for adult Christian men.

In The Savage Path, David Savage uses humility and humor to highlight the hard-won wisdom gleaned along his path— – successes, failures, friendships, and family. Much of what he shares comes from real wilderness adventures. This is a quest memoir about Christian men and how they can live a physically, mentally, and morally healthy life in modern society.

Come sit by the campfire, feel its warmth, and let it draw you into the intimate storytelling environment that only its flickering flame and the expansive night sky can provide. You are entering a sacred place to engage in the genuine pursuit of authentic manhood.
