The Tiger Story and the Sarah & the Glass Castle Stories are stories meant for children. There are two versions of The Tiger Story, a little girl version and a little boy version, which tell a Christian tale of a little girl and boy who are chased by a tiger in the woods. The Sarah and the Glass Castle Stories are comprised of four stories. The Tiger Story was first conceived of by K. E. Ward's mother, E. L. Ward, also an author, when she and her brother were children, meant to teach them about Jesus. The Sarah and the Glass Castle Stories were made up at bedtime by both the mother and the daughter, and they loved them so much that they wanted to share them with the world. There are two illustrations, created by K. E. Ward.
