My life as a member of one of Alabama's first families on the remains of one of its first plantations seemed cursed at times by alcoholism and/or bipolar disease and yet miraculously blessed at other times when not surrendering to "the curse". The original Molett was one of America's wealthiest persons because of slavery, but the Moletts on my side of the family had lost their wealth and place in Alabama's polite society by the time I was born. My story tells how God took what was left and abundantly blessed my life with His presence.
