TweetDeck offers a more convenient Twitter experience by letting you view multiple timelines in one easy interface. It includes a host of advanced features to help get the most of Twitter: Manage multiple Twitter accounts, schedule Tweets for posting in the future, build Tweet collections, and more.

If you use TweetDeck in a corporate or team environment, read about setting up a team account here.

TweetDeck is currently available at tweetdeck.com or the Mac app store.

To start using TweetDeck

  1. Go to http://tweetdeck.twitter.com, or open the desktop app for Mac.
  2. Log in with your Twitter account. We recommend that you use a Twitter account that is not shared with other individuals.
  3. Once you're logged in, you can connect multiple Twitter accounts to your TweetDeck account.

Note: If you are using an old version of our desktop app for Mac (older than Mac: 3.5.0), you will not be able to sign in with a Twitter account or create a new account until you upgrade to the latest version.

adding contentmo as a contributor to your tweetdeck account

TweetDeck’s teams feature allows multiple people to share a Twitter account without having to share the password.

When a team member logs in to TweetDeck with their own Twitter account, they will see the shared account in their Accounts tab, and in their New Tweet panel. Team members can enable login verification on their own accounts, which will keep their account secure (as well as any additional accounts in their TweetDeck).

By using the teams feature, one person looks after the password, while others can be granted access to the account as admins or contributors:

Owner (YOU)

  • Can manage password, phone number, and login verification settings.
  • Can invite others to access the account as admins or contributors.
  • Can take action on behalf of the team account (Tweet, Retweet, Direct Message, like, etc.), schedule Tweets, create lists, and build collections.

Contributor (ContentMo)

  • Can take action on behalf of the team account (Tweet, Retweet, Direct Message, like, etc.), schedule Tweets, create lists, and build collections.

Sharing access to an account

  6. Once we accept the invitation, we can begin using the shared account.

Only the owner (YOU) of the shared account manages the password, phone number, and login verification settings.
